Glitter Glass Ornaments
On December 2nd, we had a BALL making these glitter glass holiday ornaments. We used glass ornaments from the craft store, glue, glitter and acrylic paint to create these beauties. Take a look at the pictures!

Did you sign up for the Hot Pretzel Making program yet? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Only a few spots remain for one of our favorite programs. Make your own homemade pretzel from scratch, bake it in our oven, then enjoy your delicious creation. The library is going to smell like cinammon sugar- salty-buttery heaven!!! Friday, December 16th at 3:30pm.

We used recycled bubble wrap, craft paint and glitter to create these amazing abstract art pieces. One thing I learned from the teens that worked on this project - THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH GLITTER!

Come by the Teen Zone on Friday, November 18th to make these delicious and adorable Oreo Cookie Turkeys. Free for teen in grades 7 -12. We will start at 3pm - just drop in.

On November 4th we will be making bubble wrap art. Reuse bubble art to create an abstract painting! Free, in the Teen Zone, for teens in grades 7 - 12. We will start the project at 3pm.

Celebrate Teen read week!
Read for the fun of it! Every year, YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association sponsors Teen Read Week. From October 16 to October 22nd, we encourage all teens to read something THEY enjoy - something spooky, something funny, a graphic novel, an action adventure, Mad Magazine - ANYTHING you love to read!! You can also check out one of the books nominated by teens as the Teens' Top 10. This year the winners are:
1. The Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
2. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
FrankenS'mores!
On Friday, October14th, we made these amazing FrankenS'mores in the Teen Zone. Using graham crackers, chocolate icing and marshmallows we created this spooktacular treat.!
