Kennedy has just informed the nation that the Soviet Union has been sending nuclear missles to Cuba. Along with her uncertain future, Franny has to worry about her best friend not wanting to be friends with her anymore, what her older sister and her mysterious friends are up to, and about looking bad when she dances at her first boy/girl party.
