Isabelle Bean is a middle-schooler that believes she's not from this world. She knows in her heart of hearts that she is a changeling (a fairy or elf baby that is switched with a human one). One day Isabelle falls in to a closet after following a mouse's squeak in to a parallel world, where the children are running away from a witch and worst of all they think either Isabelle is the witch with her pointy boots or she must be helping her. Is this the adventure that Isabelle  has been looking and hoping for? Who knows, and maybe just maybe she'll find all the answers to her questions.
