DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE - Save Money, Use Your LibraryDuring tight economic times, take advantage of what the Library has to offer and save money on your household budget.
Most people in the community can walk or take their bikes to the Library, at no cost. Get some exercise and save money on gas. Take a walk to the Library and borrow movies, attend a program or take home a book, all for free.
Is your computer on the fritz? Are you tired of paying monthly internet bills? Use the computers at the Library at no cost. We now also loan laptops to use in the Library. Because our building is wireless, you can now use a computer anyplace you’d like to sit.
Want to take a trip close by? Borrow our free passes to Old Westbury Gardens. Want to take a day trip to New York City? Borrow our free passes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of Natural History.
Simply want to take a time out from your busy schedule? Read a favorite magazine or newspaper in a comfortable chair? We have many popular things to read for pleasure, at the Library.
When you are looking for ways to cut costs and have fun or learn, think of the Library. It’s the best bargain in the community.
