“Dig into Reading” Summer Reading Kick Off

The library is celebrating the start of “Dig Into Reading” this summer with the help of the comedy duo Grins and Grins. Children in PreK-6th grade will be allowed to begin Summer Reading registration.
Lil' Diggers Baby/Toddler Reading Program
June 25 – August 10
Parents will receive a BINGO sheet with different tips on how to read to your little ones and promote the love reading at a young age! Those who participate will receive a special gift. Please see a librarian to register.

It’s time to have fun and get messy! Come celebrate International Mud Day at our first ever MessFest. From messy crafts to dirty desserts, you will be sure to have a ball! This program is for children in grades PreK-4th. A parental permission must be filled out in order to participate.
Lego at the Library

Night Sky Starlab

Join us in a portable planetarium for a wonderful introduction to the night sky, this program explores the reason for day and night, the constellations, and a seasonal star legend. This program also highlights the importance of the Sun. Please register in advance.

Circle Time and Toy Center
Fridays from 10:30 - 11:30
For children ages 6 months to 4 years of age. 15 minutes of songs, finger plays and stories, plus some play time for you to share with your child. Meet other parents and caregivers.
The library is proud of the expansion of its Spanish collection. The Children’s Library contains books for ages ranging from toddlers to 6th graders, including picture books, chapter books and non-fiction books. The Adult Library contains a wide variety of popular fiction, as well as non-fiction books with subjects that include books on religion, health, travel, care giving, citizenship tests and much more. In addition to our collection, we also have Spanish-speaking staff that can suggest materials and answer questions you may have. We look forward to continuing the growth of this collection as well as growing with our community.

La biblioteca está orgullosa de la expansión de su colección de libros en español. La Biblioteca de Niños tiene libros para todas las edades desde un año hasta los niños que cursa el sexto grado. Los libros en la colección incluyen libros ilustrados, libros de capitulo y libros de no ficción.
